Colour Theory - A Study

I created this film as a deep dive into the world of colour, light, and texture — I wanted to experiment in bringing the way I imagine colours to life.

This project also helped me learn new ways of utilising blurs, distortions and other effects to make even simple moving images feel more realistic and physical. I took a selection of colours and animated them the way I would imagine they would be emvbodied in a single form. From fiery bubbling reds and molten golds to rippling purples and shimmering mysterious silver tones.

Part way into the project, it became more than just an experiment to me, and I found myself creating a symphony of colour, shape and sound and eventually aimed to create something that felt like it had energy, depth and a tactile feeling.
