As a huge fan of the world and the recent adaptations of the universe of Dune, I went out to create my own stylised version of a title sequence for HBO's 2024 series, Dune: Prophecy.
The programme follows the sisterhood, a dark and mysterious school that train women to become dangerous spies across the universe. The monotone style of the animation reflects both their dark clothing visual aethetics and the mysterious aura they carry. With red accents depicting the violence they enact or orchestrate. I chose a very grainy style for this project to allude to the rare spice that is a key feature of the world and the story of Dune.
