Hawkwood's "Moments of stillness" is a series of four short films I created in with Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking. The goal of the project was to capture more than just what happens at Hawkwood, it was about expressing how it feels to be there. Peaceful, calm, and deeply connected to nature, the space offers an atmosphere that forms the back drop for their event venue, retreat and learning centre.
The films explore their woodlands, natural spring, fields, winding driveway and their gardens where all their kitchen ingredients are grown or foraged from.
These quiet, meditative pieces were designed to reflect the serenity and grounding presence of the space helping viewers experience a sense of Hawkwood. The feedback from the client was very positive and has helped them promote life at hawkwood to new and returning audiences.
